Knowing the contribution of rural women to the well-being of the family and communities, Nestlé Pakistan has been extending support in the lives of women associated with the rural dairy sector in Pakistan.
Sughra Bibi has been delivering milk of her cows to Nestlé Pakistan from many years. “During the beginning, I was able to deliver only 15 liters of cow milk but now I’m able to deliver up to 50 liters. Thank you, Nestlé, for supporting me throughout these years.” Said Sughra.

We recognize that women face real challenges in the developing world, including access to financial resources, knowledge and training. Nestlé Pakistan is committed to social and economic equity for the dairy farming community, with a focus on empowering women in rural areas as we believe diversity in our business and throughout our supply chain.
Nestlé Pakistan has trained over 14,000 women agripreneurs on best dairy farms practices in the last 4 years and is committed to continue doing so in future.
We are also aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, SDG 5 of Gender Equality and SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth to empower dairy farmers and improve livelihoods in communities.
