Nestlé Healthy Kids program kicks off in KP, Pakistan

Nestlé, the world’s leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness (NHW) company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Peshawar Model Schools (PMS) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)

The purpose of this global initiative, the ‘Nestlé Healthy Kids (NHK) program’ is to enhance the knowledge of schoolchildren about nutrition and health and to promote physical activity.

Due to dietary deficiencies and poor health, Pakistan is one of the world’s three countries left to have malnourished children. The program has so far reached 70,000 children in suburban and urban areas of Pakistan in collaboration with CARE Foundation, Silver Oaks and TEDDS in an attempt to promote healthier lifestyles.
