Mr. Roland Decorvet, Managing Director Nestlé Pakistan Limited, after more than three years in Pakistan will be moving on as Head of Market Nestlé Suisse in January 2008.


Mr. Decorvet joined Nestlé Group in July 1991 and gained an extensive experience in Sales and Marketing through various responsibilities that he was entrusted with in Malaysia and in China. In 2001, Roland was appointed Head of Grocery Division first in Hong Kong and subsequently in Taiwan before his appointment as Head of Market of Nestlé Pakistan in August 2004. Under his command, Nestlé’s business in Pakistan over the last 3 years has been invigorated, sales have been doubled and profitability improved.


Besides that Nestle Pakistan has contributed to various dairy sector related development programs in Pakistan. Nestlé’s involvement with organizations such as Dairy Pakistan and longstanding engagement with the government has been instrumental in bringing about key steps for development of dairy sector. Under Mr. Decorvet’s guidance, Nestlé Pakistan embarked upon an ambitious project for improvement in rural economies through training of lady livestock workers, in collaboration with UNDP.


Mr. Decorvet will be replaced by Mr. Trevor Clayton. Mr. Clayton is currently Commercial Head in charge of Sales and Marketing in Nestlé Indochina. He joined Nestlé in South Africa in 1989 and rapidly moved through the marketing organization becoming Marketing Manager in 1995. In 2001 he undertook his first international assignment as Commercial Manager of the Food Business in Turkey before transferring to the Indochina Region, based in Bangkok in April 2005 where he assumed his current responsibilities.
