Why? Because Nestlé Pakistan own the best and most sophisticated milk quality testing equipment in the country to detect any deviations from our standards. Nestlé Pakistan can assure our consumers that all products, milks and otherwise, are absolutely safe to consume, meet all relevant regulatory requirements and are completely free of adulterants.
We carefully source the raw materials used in our products, and use only those that meet our strict safety and quality requirements. Across the world, including Pakistan, we put strict quality control procedures in place throughout the manufacturing process, testing everything from raw materials to finished products to ensure compliance with the most stringent quality and safety requirements.
Nestlé Pakistan collect 460 million liters of fresh milk from local farmers, and sells roughly 225 million liters of milk annually as finished products. The remainder of the collected fresh milk is used for other dairy products. We run a total of 27 tests before the fresh milk is received in the factories for processing. Around 16 tests are carried out on each batch of the finished product before it is allowed to leave the factory. There are 29 other tests that are carried out randomly by the Nestlé Quality Assurance Centre in Singapore throughout the year.
All our factory labs are ISO 17025 accredited by Pakistan National Accreditation Council under Federal Ministry of Science & Technology. Moreover, all our factories have international certifications including FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, ISO 9001-2008 and Halal, ensuring high quality and food safety standards.
